By 9pm we had been holding a little patch of concrete for our viewing spots on for the big World of Colour show. Sore legs and long day, but there was lots to see on the Pier. #disney2024

After a post-lunch siesta, we came back to the park with a mind to tackle the ninety minute queue for the big Cars ride, hitting a few of the smaller ones on the way there. Thankfully the sun was starting to settle a little lower into the sky and it wasn’t so hot as earlier. #disney2024

#disney2024 wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Animation Academy, where they teach you to draw some character in a quick twenty minute —and more importantly, air conditioned— session with a Disney artist. We drew Sadness, the character from Inside Out, not the lingering feeling in our hearts.
