8r4d A spicy evening so we headed into the shade of the creek for some easy trail #running through the suburban creek, those same trails we avoid in the winter but call us a lot more strongly on hot #summer days.

8r4d We did one of our holiday Monday breakfast #running meetups for Canada Day today. Five kicks earned us some eggs and bacon back at A&W and of course a hot cup of coffee.

8r4d #runclub switched to #trails #running mode this evening and we met at the Savage center to delve into the deep woods of Whitemud Creek which was slick and spicy from recent #rain … as recent as half way thru our run and a mad dash back to our cars.

8r4d I was neither #running nor #volunteering but I did ride my #bike down to one of the turnarounds on the 5 Peaks #race course this morning where RM was manning a road crossing and waving some flags at the cars trying to show the runners who’s im charge. I mean, c’mon tho. I was there about an hour watching the race and another hour cycling there and back, about 15k round trip.
