Karin’s grandmother grew up on a homestead farm in the middle of nowhere about 2 hours east of the city. The farm is still in the family and we spent the afternoon at a reunion and went out to the old place for a photo session.

The first of our #adventurerun #running adventures for 2025 started at the river boat launch and took us up into forest heights and then back down into the river valley. It had rained hard all morning so the trails were a bit mucky. The point of these runs was always to get out of the rut of our regular routes and see some of the great city trails. They are always a success from that perspective.
