8r4d The first #running adventure of #autumn was probably my last #runclub of the year. We found some colourful trails and a #sunset to match.

8r4d Our Sunday morning #running for the last day of #summer felt very much like an #autumn run through the orange hued trails. We’ve been ramping up our distances as we’ve been training for fall races, so this morning was 12k of rolling creek and suburban paths in the chilly morning air.

8r4d The creep factor was raised to about a nine point fine for this evenings #running adventure. Dark, chilly and #autumn but without the comforting glow of an early snow to make it seem less haunted.

8r4d Thanks to a minor foot injury I haven’t been out #running in about two weeks and sadly missed the last couple #autumn run opportunities of the season. Now the first snow has arrived and the temperatures have fallen and it seems like winter running season is here again. We locked in a simple #10k through our fallback winter route. Sigh.

adventuredog The dog and I are buying days until winter covers all this up with snow and cold, and we’re grabbing a few last #autumn walks while we still can. Or adventure on Friday afternoon gave us a bit of perfect weather, a gentle and calm river to admire and a few remaining leaves to crunch under our feet.
