8r4d The blur of my solo morning #running adventure chasing the trails ahead of the rain. Solo today because everyone else will be busy watching hockey later this evening when the usual schedule was posted.

8r4d Antics and #firesmoke abounding at this morning’s #running adventure, short just a few folks who were still recovering from Saturday races. Our new #bridge is coming along nicely tho.

8r4d Thursday #running as the temps climbed back into the high 20s. Mill Creek was crazy busy, too, probably because it’s summer and also there is no hockey game tonight.

8r4d The #firesmoke officially arrived in town and we commemorated by foolishly #running hills. The chosen target was a little steeper than our usual hill course tho, so after just six repeats we had done the equivalent of 10 at our regular locale. My trio of companions are all running an ultra this upcoming weekend so I don’t have much to complain about, even tho this marked day three of a short but sweet streak.

8r4d Ok, I’m not calling two days in a row a streak but I’ve been meaning to ramp up my #running efforts for a few months now and have been failing miserably. I don’t know how long either my motivation or the weather will cooperate, and if the fire smoke rolls in I’m locking myself in the house until it passes, but until then…

8r4dsfeets First of June and ready for some #running

8r4d It’s June. The #running season is in full swing obviously, and the sun was shining for our irregular Sunday meetup. I need to log a few extra miles this month to make up for some poor showings in April and May tho, so starting out with a solid 10k on the first of the month was a good way to kick it off.

8r4d My longest #running adventure of the year to date so far in 2025 was an out and back to collect the serious runners who are actually training for races this season.

8r4d May first and #running was warmer than anyone planned.
